Angrez Singh Used Fake ID Cards
To further deceive authorities, Singh allegedly used fabricated voter and Aadhar cards to take the multipurpose health worker recruitment exam on January 7 at Kotkapura’s DAV Public School, masquerading as Kaur.
The recruitment test was conducted by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. The deception unraveled when Singh’s fingerprints failed to match those of the genuine candidate on the biometric device, ultimately exposing his fraudulent attempt.
Angrez Singh Arrested
It was subsequently revealed that Angrez Singh had utilized false credentials and feminine attire to take the exam in place of his female acquaintance. The legitimate candidate’s application was rejected, and the imposter was promptly apprehended by the police.
Charges have been filed against Angrez Singh, and an ongoing investigation is underway. Meanwhile, in a statement, Faridkot SP Jasmeet Singh stated, “We received a complaint from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, and we are currently investigating the matter. We will take appropriate action after completing our inquiry.”
Angrez Singh Wore Women Accessories
The university administration, suspecting potential involvement in a larger network, swiftly lodged a complaint with the police. This incident echoes a previous case of a similar nature.
The young man identified as Angrez Singh, adorned with feminine accessories such as red bangles, a bindi, lipstick, and dressed in women’s attire, was immediately taken into custody.
Dr. Rajeev Sud, Vice-Chancellor of Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, informed the media that Angrez was attempting the exam on behalf of Paramjit Kaur, a resident of Fazilka.
The imposter’s actions led to the rejection of the real candidate’s application, and a case has been registered against him as the investigation unfolds.
