Angelique Angarni-Filopon wins Miss France 2025
Reigning Miss Martinique 2024, Angelique, has won the highly coveted Miss France 2025. The event that took place at the Futuroscope on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Alongside winning the highly coveted Miss France title, Angarni-Filopon will receive a year-long salary as well as a Paris apartment. She also received tons of gifts from sponsors.
Angélique Angarni-Filopon: 34-year-old crowned oldest Miss France and accepting the award, she said she was representing “Martinique, its diaspora as well as all the women who were once told that it was too late” and said she was “very, very far, in my head, from telling myself that I was going to win.”

Angelique Angarni-Filopon is the newly crowned winner of Miss France 2025, who hails from Martinique, France. She currently stands at a height of 183 cm or 6 feet, and she is one of the tallest competitors in this year’s event.
During the ceremony, Angelique explained how she is dedicated to helping women who are victims of breast cancer. She experienced how her mother suffered from breast cancer and eventually beat it. As a result, she shared how it “gives me (Angelique) a special affection for this cause.”
New records
Alongside winning the coveted title, Angelique Angarni-Filopon broke several records with the win. Notably, her in marked the first time that a Martinique has won the crown. Moreover, Angelique is currently 34 years old, meaning she is the first candidate in her thirties and the first Miss France to be over the age of 30. This record comes as a result of the new rule change, where the organizers have broadened the age criteria. Following her win, the new Miss France exclaimed:
When the age limit was lifted, I decided to try my luck again. The dream has not left me. At 34, I have another vision of life and I want to be an inspiring woman on a large scale. I prove that there is no expiration date for women who dream of becoming Miss France.”
Pageantry journey
Before winning the coveted Miss France 2025 title, Angelique Angarni-Filopon competed for Miss Martinique over 10 years ago in 2011. She was just 20 years old back then and finished as the first runner-up in the competition.
Profession
Unlike most Miss France candidates, who are often students, Angelique is a flight attendant for the Corsair company. She has previously worked in insurance before working in her current role.
