Born on May 3, 2004, Andrey Santos is currently 18 years old and plays as the centre midfielder for Vasco da Gama. He is 1.76 m (5 ft 9 in).
Santos was first introduced to futsal at the age of four to shed weight. He rapidly fell in love with the sport and started as a defender, but it was quickly realised that his skills were squandered.
Santos was switched to midfield in the Vasco academy. He has acknowledged that he welcomed the change since it gave him more opportunities to contribute to goal scoring, while his mother rejoiced at what she saw as an increase in worth.
Santos made his senior debut as a 17-year-old in March 2021, and he later started for the first time that season, but the event was overshadowed by booing from the crowd as Vasco failed to make it back to Brazil’s top division.
Santos hasn’t looked back since boss Ze Ricardo gave the midfielder a starting spot permanently to usher in a new era.
