The tragic news of his demise was confirmed by UFC after the brand paid their condolences to the late wrestler via twitter.

Throughout his career, the legend competed as a Light heavyweight in the UFC. He is widely known for being the runner up on The Ultimate Fighter 1. His TUF Ultimate Finale loss against Forrest Griffin is known as the most important fights in UFC history.
In his career in UFC, the player played against World Champions such as Silva, Lyoto Machida, Tito Ortiz, Mark Coleman, Jon Jones, and Rashad Evans.

Stephan was born in Hammond, Indiana, on April 4, 1977 and was raised in Munster, Indiana.
The veteran started wrestling at the age of 10 and started Tae Kwon Do when he was 12. At the age of 22, he started wrestling in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu.
Furthermore, the player went on to learn Boxing and Muay Thai when he was just 24.
For those who are unversed, let us tell you, Bonnar received a Black-belt in Tae Kwon Do when he was 16. He is known as the 2-time Golden Gloves Champion in the Super Heavyweight division.
