Anand Prakash Chouksey builds 4 BHK Taj Mahal in honour of wife
A man named Anand Prakash Chouksey recently constructed a 4 BHK Taj Mahal-inspired home in order to honour his wife. The building is located within the campus of a school that he founded. Anand seemingly used the same Makrana marble as the Taj Mahal in Agra, and his building is a scaled-down version of the Taj Mahal mirroring its dimensions.
It is notably a one-third replica of the original and features a majestic dome, symmetrical minarets, alongside arched doorways, and intricately carved marble interiors. One of the most notable design elements in the building features a buffalo etched into the marble floor. The buffalo serves as a symbol of Chouksey’s humble beginnings as a milk distributor. Anand stated how the design reminds him to stay grounded, irrespective of his success in life.
The house consists of two main bedrooms that are located on two separate floors. It also has a library and a meditation room and the drawing room flaunts marble columns, a curving staircase and a gilded ceiling.
