A 22-year-old school employee from Elmira, New York, identified as Anamaria Milazzo, was recently arrested following allegations that she had sent n*de photographs to a 14-year-old boy over a three-month period. The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Milazzo was taken into custody after a complaint filed on June 9 led to an investigation by their Criminal Investigations Division.
“The Chemung County Sheriff’s Office announces the arrest of ANAMARIA E. MILAZZO, a 22-year-old female from the Town of Elmira, for Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors in the Second Degree, a class E Felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a Class A Misdemeanor,” a June 16 post stated.
Milazzo, from Elmira, had been sending the photos to a 14-year-old boy over three months and GST BOCES confirmed Milazzo was an employee at a BOCES facility in Chemung County but would not say when she worked at the school or what her role was.
Age 22 Anamaria who stands at a height of 5 feet 3 inches was a three sport varsity student-athlete at Elmira Notre Dame as she played on the girls soccer, girls basketball, and softball teams. In girls soccer she was a 2x all star and a IAC 2nd team all-star while in softball she was a 1st and 2nd team all star throughout her career at Elmira Notre Dame.

The case reportedly began when a school resource officer assigned to the Greater Southern Tier BOCES received information about inappropriate communication between Milazzo and the teen. Authorities later charged her with disseminating indecent material to minors in the second degree, a class E felony, as well as endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.

Milazzo was issued an appearance ticket and is expected to appear in Wellsburg Village Court at a later date. While the school district confirmed her termination, officials declined to specify her role or provide additional details. It also remains unclear whether the minor involved was a student at the same facility where she had worked. As per local reports, Milazzo was released without bail under New York’s no-cash bail law and did not spend time in custody.
