For the unversed, following the heartbreaking news of Kale’s demise surfaced, cricket fans and known personalities such as Ravi Shastri, Sonu Sood, Sharad Pawar, the official X account of IPL team Mumbai Indians etc., have flooded X/Twitter with tributary messages.

Actor Sonu Sood took to X and wrote, “My heart is broken, Amol Bhai. I will always miss you, Amol Kale Bhai,” with a heartbroken emoji.

Followed by it, the Mumbai Indians team’s X account penned “We are saddened to hear about the demise of Mr. Amol Kale, MCA President. May his soul Rest in Peace.”
Politician and a Member of Rajya Sabha, Sharad Pawar, also paid his condolences as he wrote “Deeply shocked to hear about the sudden demise of Shri Amol Kale, President, Mumbai Cricket Association!”

According to media reports, Kale, who is widely known as the President of Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), passed away in New York following a heart attack.
Kale traveled to the United States to watch the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match India vs Pakistan, where team India defeated Pakistan by 6 runs. As per reports, Kale watched the live India vs Pakistan match along with other MCA officials at the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium.
Who Confirms the Tragic News?
The heartbreaking news was confirmed by a journalist Amol Karharkar, who took to X and penned “Mumbai Cricket Association president Amol Kale has passed away due to a cardiac arrest in USA.

For the curious, the 47-year-old entrepreneur was elected as MCA President in 2022. He became the President of MCA after defeating Sandeep Patil, in a close-contested election.
His opponent Sandeep Patil, is widely known as a 1983 World Cup Champion team member.
According to his official LinkedIn profile, apart from being the President of MCA, Kale is also an entrepreneur, business owner, industrialist and Angel investor. Details about his family members aren’t known.
Hailing from Nagpur, Kale has earned a bachelor’s degree in BE, Electrical Engineering from Nagpur University. He is also widely recognized as the Founder and CEO of Arpita Enterprises and JK Solutions Pvt. Ltd.
He set up several businesses and has worked up with many private entities and government departments and was also a trustee in Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD), Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. He was vital in searching for land for Lord Shri Venkateswara Temple in Navi Mumbai.
Kale was also known for being a close associate of Deputy CM of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis. His last post on LinkedIn which was updated two days before his death, announced the launch of MCA Season 2024-25.
Speaking about his tenure at MCA, the cricket association has made quite notable achievements during Kale’s tenure from doubling the fees of domestic players to erecting a statue of Sachin Tendulkar at Wankhede Stadium.
