After being detained in Tampa on November 24, 22-year-old Alyssa Ann Zinger was charged with two counts of lewd or lascivious battery and five counts of lewd or lascivious molestation. It is not thought by the authorities that this was a singular incident.

In a statement, Chief Lee Bercaw said that witnessing an adult take advantage of and prey on a youngster was unnerving and disturbing. They invited anyone who thought they were Zinger’s victims to come forward. The Tampa Police Department will assist and ensure that you or anybody else is not harmed by a predator like Zinger in the future.

Zinger allegedly had a relationship with a youngster between the ages of 12 and 15, according to tips received by the police. After conducting an investigation, the police discovered that Zinger communicated with the victim primarily through an online social media platform.

That platform was Snapchat, according to a search warrant that the Tampa Bay Times was able to obtain. More information regarding at least one relationship, which allegedly lasted from May to September, was included in the warrant. Zinger allegedly engaged in s*xual activities several times with the minor and sent him graphic material. It is also stated that she acknowledged having engaged in previous illicit s*xual relationships.

A theft case led to Zinger’s and the minor’s capture

In response to Zinger and a minor’s attempted theft from a Nordstrom shop over the summer, authorities reportedly halted them, according to the Tampa Bay Times. In an interview with an officer, Zinger gave her identity and claimed to have been born in 2009. However, after she gave a date of birth that did not match any records for her, the officer found out that Alyssa Ann Zinger was born in 2001.

Both her employer, the grocery retailer Publix, and an officer attest to her status as an adult. Zinger is said to have entered a not-guilty plea. However, she could not be reached for comment immediately.
