Alolika receives congratulations from Senior Bachchan for granting her mother’s dream to have her appear on the show. Alolika, a resident of Kolkata, had her dream come true when she got to play from the hot seat in KBC Season 15. The contestant, who won Rs 12,50,000, had a series of firsts leading up to the show, including meeting Amitabh Bachchan and taking her first flight.

After an 18-year wait to compete on KBC, Alolika finally achieved her goal of winning the Fastest Finger First to the Hot Seat by accurately alphabetizing four letters of the Hindi Varnamala. There was much amusement during the 69th episode when Alolika said she didn’t think she would make it to the hot seat. The participant, whose mother tongue is Bengali, was the first to properly identify the Hindi alphabet in a question.
Alolika chuckled as she stated that airline people charge so much money, and then they keep the luggage. She rides by rail exclusively, keeping her bags tucked under her seats. She worries about her luggage the entire trip, and when she wakes up, her first concern is whether or not her luggage is there. Bachchan and the audience both laughed at her remarks.
The veteran actor also inquired about her hotel experience in Mumbai. That was such a big hotel, she retorted. Bravo, KBC. Not only she, but also her husband, could never afford the stay. She hailed KBC, as her wish had been fulfilled. Everyone smiled broadly when she delightfully shared her experiences. Alolika left the game on the thirteenth question since she didn’t know the answer, taking her Rs 12.5 lakh prize money with her.
