It was not anticipated that Alex, the eldest of Soros’ two children from his second marriage, would take over the family business. According to the publication, he grew up mindful of how wealthy his family was.
The third child of Soros’ first marriage, Jonathan, was supposed to succeed him. However, Jonathan had “a change of heart,” and he and his father “had a falling out” due to their divergent personalities. Alex’s destiny was made clear by his departure from the family financial company.
Alexander Soros stands at a height of 180 cm or 5’11” tall and is aged 38. Nothing is known about his wife or relationship status.
According to the media outlet, the new Soros overseer is a self-described centre-left thinker who is “more political” than his father. In spite of his desire to see money removed from politics, Alex plans to continue contributing to left-leaning political candidates and causes through the family’s political action committee, Democracy PAC.
Right-wing conspiracy theorists and pundits have made George Soros a target due to his sponsorship of liberal causes. According to Alex, in addition to gender equity, the foundation’s focus will be expanded to include voting and abortion rights.
Alex Soros’ Career
Alex earned his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley, nine years after earning his BA in history from New York University. In 2004, he started part-time employment with the Soros family investment company.

He is on the boards of Central European University, Bard College, the Centre for Jewish History, the European Council on Foreign Relations, and the International Crisis Group. Alex is also the founder and chair of Bend the Arc Jewish Action, a liberal Jewish political group that works for equality in American society.
