Super Bowl 2025

In Sunday night’s NFC Championship Game, the Eagles dominated the Commanders, 55-23 last month. Philadelphia returned to the Super Bowl for the second time under quarterback Jalen Hurts and head coach Nick Sirianni.

After the Philadelphia Eagles won Super Bowl LIX, President Trump has stated that he is excited to welcome them to the White House, which is supposedly “absolutely” on its way. After the Eagles’ visit was postponed in 2018 due to protests against the national anthem, this action comes after that incident.

“They will be (extended an invitation), we haven’t yet, but we will be,” Trump said. “I thought it was a great performance by them and, absolutely, they’ll be extended that invitation. We’re going to do that sometime today and they deserve to be down here, and we hope to see them.”

According to a recent report, the Philadelphia Eagles turned down a White House visit offer after winning the Super Bowl. Evidence, however, points to the President of the United States never formally extended an invitation.

Debate has been generated by the situation, with some speculating as to whether the controversy sprang from a misunderstanding between the organization and the administration or whether the team purposefully declined the visit.
