Alex Truby, once the romantic partner of Dan Wootton for a period of four years, has recently come forward with shocking claims against the GB News broadcaster
He alleges that not only did Wootton emotionally torment him throughout their relationship, but also accused him of darker pursuits, such as being involved in the clandestine creation of sex tapes.

While Truby and Wootton’s relationship might have been an intimate affair, a recent discovery has brought shocking details to the surface. During Dan Wootton’s time abroad, Alex stumbled upon a padlocked holdall cleverly hidden behind Wootton’s washing machine.
Inside this secretive bag, a hard drive lay concealed, which purportedly contained a video. This video, according to Truby, seemingly showed him in a compromising position with a Sun newspaper employee. What’s more troubling is that this tape appeared to have been filmed without the knowledge or consent of the involved parties.
Rising concerns and accusations
Truby’s accusations didn’t stop at the unsettling video discovery. He also unveiled that a transcript accompanied the video, which seemed to be an MSN conversation between the Sun employee’s partner and an individual named “Martin Branning.” The chat disclosed that Branning allegedly paid the partner 500 pounds, asking them to secretly film a sexual act, likely without the Sun employee being aware.
Connecting the dots, Truby suspects that the alias “Martin Branning” might have been used by none other than his ex-lover, Dan Wootton.
Dan Wootton is accused of unlawfully accessed email
Truby also says that Wootton hacked into his email and social media accounts without his permission, making him feel like he was being followed everywhere he went. When Truby found that his Gmail account was being accessed by an IP address from the News of the World office, where Wootton worked, the claims started to make more sense.
When Truby asked Wootton about the strange contents of the holdall, Wootton broke down in tears and admitted to both making and using the alias Martin Branning.
The spotlight on Dan Wootton
Dan Wootton, a well-known figure in GB News, got caught up in this scandal when Truby took to Twitter to air his complaints and make the claims public. According to a thorough probe by Byline Times, Wootton may have used fake online identities to hide his true identity.
He may have then forced other people to give him sensitive and damaging information. As the story keeps changing, everyone is waiting for more information about these accusations and what they might mean for both sides.
