The full bike accident video of Akshat Garg who was killed by Kuldeep Thakur in Gurgaon has gone viral

A tragic incident occurred on Golf Course Road, in DLF 2, Gurgaon, where a 23-year-old biker, who identified as Akshat Garg, lost his life in a head-on collision with an SUV being driven on the wrong side.

The SUV driver, identified as Kuldeep Kumar Thakur, was detained but later released on bail. The 25-year-old was a resident of Ghitorni and co-founder of a PR company, while Garg was from Pochanpur, Dwarka but worked in Gurugram. His mother is named Rekha.

The incident took place around 5.45 am when age 23 Akshat Garg, a traveller service associate, was heading for a ride with his friends.

What Exactly Happened?

As per media reports, Akshat Garg and his 22-year-old friend, Pradyuman Kumar had set out early Sunday morning for a ride, each on separate bikes. The duo first went to DLF downtown and had planned to meet other riders at the Ambience Mall later.

According to counts given by Pradyuman Kumar, Garg had taken all precautions including wearing a helmet and other safety gear. Kumar reportedly, was riding 100 feet behind Garg, had witnessed the accident that occurred near Belvedere Towers around 5:25 a.m.

What Did Pradyuman Kumar Say?

As per media reports, Kumar revealed that Kuldeep Kumar’s Mahindra XUV 300, driving in the wrong direction, suddenly appeared out of no where, leading to collision.

Pradyuman Kumar’s reportedly rushed to Garg’s aid, while bystanders detained Thakur and called the ambulance and police. Despite Kumar’s efforts, Garg succumbed to his injuries before the arrival of the ambulance.

Pradyuman Kumar alleged that Thakur was speeding on the wrong side of the road, and that the SUV had a sticker of a BJP candidate.

Furthermore, he alleged that Gurgaon police did not accept the footage from his GoPro camera as evidence, possibly due to Thakur’s political connections.

The video which is making rounds on social media platforms, reportedly showed Garg riding at high speed before crashing into the SUV.

What Did the Gurgaon Police Say?

After the video went viral, the police officials denied these allegations stating that the footage was accepted. Additionally, they also revealed that Thakur was booked and granted bail in accordance with the law.

As per the police officials, an FIR in the case was lodged based on Kumar’s complaint under sections of causing death by negligence, rash driving, and relevant sections of the Motor Vehicles Act.
