Ibrahim Zadran bio and age
Ibrahim Zadran is an Afghan professional cricketer who was born on December 12, 2001 in Khost, Afghanistan. He is currently just 22 years old and made his Test match debut for the Afghanistan Cricket Team back in September 2019. Despite his young age, Zadran currently serves as the vice-captain of the Afghanistan Cricket Team in T20I cricket. He is yet to play in the IPL.
He is the nephew of Noor Ali, who was also a cricketer that played for the Afghanistan national cricket team and the cousin brother of Mujeeb ur Rahman. Ibrahim is a devout follower of Islam. He is unmarried and single.

Carer and stats
Ibrahim Zadran made his List A debut for Mis Ainak Region on 11 August 2017, in the 2017 Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Tournament. He then made his T20 debut on 12 September 2017 for Mis Ainak Knights in the 2017 Shpageeza Cricket League.
The following year in September 2018, he featured in Nangarhar’s squad for the first edition of the Afghanistan Premier League tournament. In 2021, the youngster played for Boyne Hill in Berkshire as an opener, scoring scored 479 runs across 15 matches.
Ibrahim made his international debut for Afghanistan in December 2017 in the 2018 Under-19 Cricket World Cup. He emerged as the leading run-scorer for Afghanistan in the tournament with 186 runs. He then went on to make his Test debut, in the one-off match against Bangladesh, on 5 September 2019. Ibrahim Zadran then made his One Day International (ODI) debut on 11 November 2019 against the West Indies.
He finally made his T20I debut for Afghanistan on 14 November 2019 against the West Indies and scored his first ODI century during the second match against Zimbabwe in June 2022. He scored an unbeaten 120 runs in the match.
The right-handed batter made his World Cup debut on October 7, 2023 against Bangladesh in the 2023 Cricket World Cup. During that same tournament, he scored an impressive 87 runs off 113 balls against Pakistan earning the player of the match award. He dedicated the award to the Afghan refugees. He has since only gone higher and made the Afghanistan squad for the 2024 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup tournament.
