On January 29, on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya, Ishika Taneja went to the Maha Kumbh Mela and took a holy dip to begin a new chapter in her life. She encouraged all young women to follow the path of Sanatan and pledged to spread Sanatan Dharma after taking the dip.

“If I get a chance, I’ll produce movies, but in those too, I will promote Sanatan Dharma,” she said.

Ishika Taneja appeared in a promotional song for Madhur Bhandarkar’s 2017 co-written, co-produced, and co-directed Indian political thriller Indu Sarkar. In the Indian online series Hadh, which Vikram Bhatt wrote and produced, Ishika portrayed the primary character, Rhea.
