The role of Marcus is played by Tommy Wattring in the 2nd season of Young Royals. He is a 23-year-old Swedish actor who has been quick to impress viewers in the supporting role and a connection to Simon has been well-established.
Marcus is Tommy’s key role to date but the actor has been earning screen roles since his one of the first appearance in an episode of 2012 of the TV miniseries 15, Det Ar Mitt Liv. Following that he was also in 2013’s Julie as a child. Fast forward all the way to 2015 and he landed a recurring part in the series Beck and he’s been repeating the character up until in 2021. He was also in an episode of Finast Familjen (Sebastian) in 2017.

“There are different labels right now but the thing about Wilhelm is that he is not having a label. However, he’s also not sure of what he wants and he knows he enjoys spending time with Simon and it doesn’t matter that he is a boy, that’s not the thing itself.”
He also stated, “For him it’s just fine being unlabeled and I think that’s more significant to show the audience that you can be unlabeled.”
