Abhinav Singh passes away
Abhinav Singh is a well-known Odia rapper and engineer who recently passed away in his apartment in Kadubeesanahalli, Bangalore. According to reports, the tragic incident took place on Sunday night with the case still under investigation. As of now, the case is registered under the Marathahalli police station.
Cause of death
Abhinav Singh reportedly passed away due by suicide, which his family believes prompted by ongoing disputes with his wife. Reports indicate that Abhina consumed poison in despair of the accusations that his wife levelled against him. Officials have reportedly sent back his body to his family in Odisha for the final rites following a post-mortem examination.
Abhinav’s father, Bijay Nanda Singh, reportedly identified around 8 to 10 individuals while issuing an official complaint to the police. Bijay and his family are demanding a thorough investigation into the matter. Moreover, his father claimed that Abhinav suffered mental torture from his wife and several others. As of now, investigators are still trying to uncover the exact events that led to the tragic incident.

Abhinav Singh was a renowned Odia rapper who went by the stage name ‘Juggernaut’. Singh was just 32 years old at the time of his death and was a prominent figure in the Odia rap scene. Singh mainly gained widespread recognition following his hit track ‘Cuttack Anthem’.
His music often features a blend of local cultural elements as well as contemporary rap styles. He also addresses various social issues while celebrating Odia identity. Throughout his career, he has had various collaborations with local artists like MC Tor (Tanmay Sahoo). Singh had a growing audience on various platforms like YouTube and Spotify.
He was also an engineer working in a private company and lived in an apartment in Kadubeesanahalli, Bengaluru and as per initial investigations, the 32-year-old has committed suicide by consuming poison.
As per the initial statements from the close family members around Abhinav, he was facing mental stress after his wife filed certain allegations against him and speaking about Abhinav’s fight with his wife, his mother said to the media: “I used to hear the two of them fight often. Abhinav had come home during the Puja break, but every weekend, he disappeared without informing us. I had once heard him ask his wife about interacting with us, which she was reluctant to do. But I kept quiet for almost nine months.”
The name of his wife isn’t known.
Abhinav Singh had an Instagram account with the handle @juggernautsingh, where he had 4,672 followers and about 1,110 posts.
Controversies
Despite his success, Abhinav Singh was also involved in various controversies throughout his life. Back in August 2024, Abhinav faced serious allegations from Ollywood actress Supriya. Supriya claimed that Abhinav barred her from launching a music video and allegedly assaulted her. This incident sparked significant media attention and investigations from various legal authorities.
In another separate incident, Singh was reportedly found in an OYO hotel in Bhubaneswar with several other women following a complaint by his wife. In response to the complaint, authorities sealed the hotel but Singh vehemently denied all accusations against him. He also claimed that he was the victim of a conspiracy that Supriya and another individual named Adarsh orchestrated.
