High schooler Whitney Williams left her parents, Chris and Tammie Williams in shock when she proposed the suggestion of an alligator hunting to celebrate her 17th birthday. “My whole body was just nervous and also was shaking. I’m glad I didn’t miss it though,” Williams stated. To execute this plan they had to make numerous arrangements. Moreover, everything came on track once they applied for the permit to hunt alligators. Similar to other US states, in Alabama that has almost ten thousand alligators, people can easily apply for a permit to hunt water predators like alligators.
Chris hired a professional hunter and decided to go night hunting with a bow and arrow on the weekend of 30th of July. “I found a few of the guys who work for the state of Florida and go around surveying different places,” Chris again stated. “The surveys tell how many gators are there and they do egg collection and that kind of stuff.”
