The ICC news release added that the female mascot, who will go by the name of “Blaze,” will be bowling at a high pace, leaving batters in total wonder. She is a fast-bowling sensation because of her razor-sharp accuracy, exceptional reflexes, boundless suppleness, and unwavering resolve. She has six power cricket orbs strategically placed on her belt for a variety of game-changing tactics.

The two mascots will be present at all World Cup games in the venues, mingling with spectators and bringing additional energy to the main event. The pair was introduced back in August, and fans from all across the world were encouraged to help name them. According to ICC, Blaze and Tonk came out on top.

Tonk, the male mascot, is a batting champion thanks to his icy cool demeanour. His wide variety of shots, which display both finesse and power in equal measure, sizzle and electrify the fans. Cricket fans can expect more excitement on October 2 when England takes on Bangladesh in Guwahati and New Zealand faces South Africa in Thiruvananthapuram. The next day, Afghanistan will face Sri Lanka on October 3 in Guwahati. In Thiruvananthapuram, India and the Netherlands square off. Pakistan will also play Australia in Hyderabad to end the day. All of the games will be starting at 2:00 p.m.
