For those who are unversed, let us tell you, as per a report by the Washington Post, the authorities revealed that the LSU sophomore student, Madison Brooks, who was allegedly raped, was killed when she was fatally struck by a car after the suspects dropped her off.

For those who are curious to know more about the 19-year-old victim, let us tell you, as per a report by the New York Post, Brooks, who was allegedly raped and killed, sometimes worked with her Alpha Phi sorority sisters behind the bar counter at Reggie’s in East Baton Rouge.
The reports suggested that the teenager was drinking at the bar in the evening hours before she died on January 15, 2023.
As per the investigators, Brooks posted a series of snaps online from the bar including one with two of her pals captioning “3 little Reggie’s workers.”

As of now, it’s unclear whether Brooks was formally employed by the bar or not. However, for those who are wondering, let us tell you, in Louisiana, the minimum age to bartend and to sell alcohol is 18.
Let us remind you, the authorities investigating the death of the teenager revealed that she was captured on surveillance when she entered the bar at around 10:00 P.M. local time on January 14. However, when she disappeared, apparently the service wasn’t working.
The investigators states that, inside the bar, she met with a 17-year-old and left with him in a drunken state between 1 to 2 a.m. on January 15.
The cops further stated that, 3 other men joined the two and got into a car where 2 of them allegedly raped her before dumping her nearby and tin over by a rideshare vehicle.

The police have nabbed the 17-year-old, an 18-year-old, and Kaivon Washington who were charged with third-degree rape while a 28-year-old Everett Lee and 18-year-old Casen Carver, who are also facing the charges of principle to third-degree rape.
