Tweeter account @DenbrotS also reported that Kohberger’s alma mater, the Catholic-affiliated DeSales University, had issued a statement expressing their “devastation” at the killings. It said in the release:

“As a Catholic, Salesian community, we are devastated by this senseless tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims’ families during this difficult time.”
