When he discovers Hee-joo uncomfortable, Sa-eon stops pressuring her to show him her birthmark. In another scene, Hee-joo’s father is threatened by the kidnapper. He cautions her to proceed with her plot to blackmail her spouse Sa-eon while displaying a few fictitious bloodied teeth.
She is relieved to see her father well when she soon goes to see him. Sa-eon transfers Hee-joo’s father to a different hospital so that he can receive further care. He then exhorts Hee-joo to be serious about her interview for the position of Presidential Spokesperson sign language interpretation.
