But, if he was unconcerned about such sentiments, as Navel suggested, returning it to its rightful owner seemed like the moral thing to do. Faire questioned Lemon about his ability to fall in love with her again and his desire to reconcile with her. Lemon passes out after Faire hands her the earrings. The navel is in a state of panic.
Lemon explained to her that he needed to rest because his body was going through a transition. Lemon thought the money had broken the spell, so she reassured Navel that Faire would be fine once his body returned to normal.
Navel panicked, fearing that he had passed again like the last time, but this time was different. Because the ceremony was over, Pine declared that it was finally time to give Jean the earrings.
Lemon reminded Navel that she insisted on giving Jean the earrings, but nothing happened after Navel inquired as to what she and Jean were up to. Navel assured her that because the earrings were designed to be worn in the earlobes, holding her would have no effect on them.

Lemon promised him that she would do everything she could to make him feel better. Nobody was expecting Jean’s behavior, which, as Lemon pointed out, didn’t go well with his new piercings.
