For those who are unfamiliar, let us tell you, the actor’s are suing the brand for over $500 million which is equivalent to £414 million.
As per a report by Variety, the suit alleged that the movie’s director, Franco Zeffirelli, initially told both the actor’s that they would wear flesh-color underwear in the bedroom scene.
However, before the filming started, both stars alleged that they were told to wear only body make-up.
Furthermore, they claimed that they were told that the camera would be positioned to avoid exposure and that they had to comply or the “picture would fail.”
The co-stars who are now in their 70s alleged that they were filmed nude without their knowledge. Let us remind you, the director of the movie had already passed away back in 2019 at the age of 96.
Olivia and Whiting’s Age During Filming
Now coming back to the question which everyone is wondering, let us tell you, both actors were 16 years old at the time the movie was finished shooting.
However, Olivia was just 15 when the shooting of the movie began. The actress who is now 71 years old was born on April 17, 1951 and she celebrated her 16th birthday on the set of the movie.
On the other hand, Whiting who was born on June 30, 1950, had already turned 16 when the shooting began.

Their bedroom scene shows brief moments of Whiting’s uncovered buttocks and Hussey’s breasts. In their suit, the co-actors alleged that they “believed they had no choice but to act in the nude in body make-up as demanded.”
