The video first showed up on YouTube on October 17, 2019, and that it showed Russian YouTuber Gleb Korablyov shooting himself while he was lying on a couch.

In the video, Galeb told someone not to tell his parents yet that he was going to kill himself. He then started to shoot himself in the head. Korablyov yelled “Nya, poka!” (which means “Nyan, bye!”) right before he killed himself. This was a reference to a Russian meme about people who kill themselves. The 17-second video quickly went viral on the site, but it was taken down right away.

The clip has been posted on websites and online groups that share violent pictures and videos. Over the weekend of October 19 and 20, 2019, the video started to get more views on YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, and Google. When the video was mentioned on TikTok on December 9, 2019, it got a lot more attention. Reports say that people were looking for it on TikTok, even though it doesn’t seem to have been posted there.

People shared the video all over social media, and many netizens told others not to look for it and talked about how horrifying it was for them.

Video 1444 isn’t the first scary video to go around the Internet.

In the past, a clip of “the number stations” went viral. They show what the CIA and other intelligence agencies are said to have used to send messages: broadcast signals. These stations are still in use, and digitally synthesised voices keep saying the same long list of numbers over and over again. No one has a good explanation for why this is happening.

Since YouTube started, people have been able to watch the I Feel Fantastic video. It has a short video of Tera, a robot, singing a song in a strange house. Video led to a lot of conspiracy theories, such as the idea that a serial killer is behind it. It turned out that the clip was made by a musician named John Bergeron.

In another video called Sagazan Performance Transfiguration, performance artist Oliver de Sagazan covers himself with layers of body paint, clay, and other liquids to make himself look like a monster.
