She highlighted the Modi government’s initiatives, such as providing free ration to 80 crore people during its tenure and distributing 19 crore Ayushman cards. She questioned whether, based on Hindu-Muslim or Sikh-Christian considerations, such benefits have ever been provided.

She emphasized that under the Jal Jeevan Mission, water doesn’t inquire about the household’s religion when flowing through taps, and basic amenities like roads and electricity are not distributed based on religious considerations.

In recent news, Smriti Irani, a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), took a dig at her Congress counterpart Rahul Gandhi regarding reports suggesting that the Wayanad MP may contest the 2024 Lok Sabha Elections from both Amethi and Wayanad. Irani remarked, “This indicates the Congress’ impending defeat.”

A leader from the Uttar Pradesh Congress stated on Wednesday that Rahul Gandhi, a prominent party figure, plans to run for the Lok Sabha election from Amethi, a constituency he has represented multiple times since 2002.

Smriti Irani commented on the situation by saying, “I’m uncertain about the Congress candidate for Amethi, but it’s noteworthy that the Congress is taking an unusually long time to announce their candidate for Amethi. This is a clear indication of Congress’ anticipated defeat in the upcoming elections.”
