Iyer and Dhanshree Verma have been pictured together in the past as well. At Shardul Thakur’s wedding, they were last seen posing for photos with Ritika Sajdeh and India captain Rohit Sharma.
Twitter has often gone onto link both of them, claiming Chahal is being cheated on by Dhanashree and Iyer but the two are only friends with nothing concrete out about any other kind of relationship.
In August of last year, they dined with Suryakumar Yadav and Devisha Shetty.
The pair previously worked together on a dancing video that became a social media hit on Instagram.
Meanwhile, Shreyas Iyer has been excluded from the 2023 IPL due to a back problem that has plagued him regularly since December.
The right-handed batsman will also likely be sidelined for the next England vs Australia ICC World Test Championship final on June 7 at London’s Oval.
The 28-year-old initially experienced agony after India’s tour of Bangladesh came to an end in December. After that, he missed both the first test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia and the home series against New Zealand.
The fourth Test, which resulted in a tie, was the only one in which the Mumbai batsman was unable to bat despite fielding for two days. According to ESPNCricinfo, Shreyas will go abroad for the surgery and is anticipated to miss at least three months of action.
While Iyer is sidelined, Nitish Rana will be in control of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the IPL in 2023. Shakib Al Hasan’s withdrawal from the contest due to domestic and international commitments led KKR to replace him with Jason Roy.
The 32-year-old has eight half-centuries to his name, a strike rate of 137.61, and 1522 runs scored in 64 T20 Internationals for England. The bold batter gave the team Rs. 2.8 crore to sign on.
