Pegula serves as the president of Pegula Sports and Entertainment, which is responsible for managing several sports teams, such as the Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bandits, Rochester Knighthawks, and Rochester Americans.
She is one of only three NFL team owners who were not born in the United States, alongside Shahid Khan and Zygi Wilf.
Kim Pegula was born in Seoul, South Korea, and was abandoned on the streets of Seoul when she was five. Pegula was raised by Ralph and Marilyn Kerr in Fairport, New York, after being adopted by them in 1974. She attended Houghton College.
