Twitter just relaunched the Blue Tick on its platform again yesterday, this time with a subscription.
Twitter Golden Tick
Twitter Golden Tick is similar to the blue tick, with the only difference being that it will indicate organizations instead of individuals. The Golden ticket will officially be sued to verify a legitimate entity.
When any user clicks on the Verified button next to the account handle, it will show that the particular account is an “official business on Twitter”.
Twitter Golden Tick Price
Twitter Blue service costs around ₹999 a month for users. Since Twitter Golden Tick will be a part of Twitter Blue, organizations that have already paid for Twitter Blue will not have to pay any extra charges. Business organizations that paid for the Twitter Blue service will automatically get the golden checkmark.
Full List Of Twitter Golden Tick Benefits
Organizations will get the following benefits with Twitter Golden Tick:
- Ability to edit tweets
- Longer video uploads up to 1080p quality
- Reader mode for a distraction-free reading experience
- 50% lesser ads
- Quicker access to new features
All of these features are also available for a Blue Tick user as well. However, whether the user is an organization or person, they will need to undergo a review process and get approval.
More Unique Labels
Twitter is reportedly working on creating more identity marks besides the blue and golden tick mark. In a recent post, Twitter shared about adding an Official profile label for government accounts. These accounts could be like institutional accounts, elected or appointed officials, and multilateral organizations.
Certain political organizations including political parties, and commercial companies like business partners, major brands, media outlets and publishers, and some notable public figures could also get their own unique identity.
Moreover, “state-affiliated media and government accounts” could also obtain their own “unique label”.
