Former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi and education Minister Manish Sisodia is in Tihar jail on corruption charges, know his qualification and education
He wrote a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi in which he questioned Modi’s schooling. The letter makes serious accusations against PM Modi and says that “less-educated prime minister is dangerous for the country.”
The Gujarat High Court shamed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over PM Modi’s degree certificates, which is why Sisodia wrote the letter. But the party doesn’t seem like it wants to tone down its attacks on PM Modi’s academic credentials.

In his letter, Manish Sisodia asserts that PM Modi does not understand the importance of education and claims that “whenever the head of state of other countries meet PM Modi, they take away a heavy price for each hug they exchange. They take PM Modi’s signature on various documents as PM Modi fails to comprehend those documents as he is less educated.”
Sisodia also said that the Narendra Modi government didn’t put education first, saying that more than 60,000 government schools had been shut down in the past few years. These allegations come at a time when a string of evidence has been found against Sisodia by retrieving iCloud chats data which allude to him getting kickbacks worth Rs.100 crore in the Delhi liquor scam.
Also, despite the Gujarat court slamming Kejriwal for falsely accusing the PM of not having a college degree despite it being available in full public domain, Kejriwal continues to peddle his fake narrative. As he tries to belittle the PM on his education, Delhi continues to see protests in Delhi University and government schools as dues continue to remain uncleared with hoards of teaching spots including those of principals and vice-principals vacant.
Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal supports Sisodia’s letter to PM Modi
Sharing Manish Sisodia’s letter, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal tweeted, “Manish Sisodia wrote a letter to the nation from jail. Prime Minister being less educated is very dangerous for the country. Modi ji does not understand science. Modi ji does not understand the importance of education. 60,000 schools closed in the last few years. It is necessary to have an educated PM for the progress of India.”
In a funny twist, Manish Sisodia is not even a graduate. Sisodia told the Election Commission in his most recent statement that he has a Diploma in Journalism from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan in Delhi, which he got in 1993. Since Sisodia’s only degree is a Diploma, he is not even a graduate. He used to be the minister of education in Delhi.
It was not mentioned as PG Diploma that is done after graduation but as a diploma that is done after 12th.
The AAP calls Sisodia the “best education minister in the world” a lot, but the fact that he is not even a graduate makes it hard to believe what they say.
Sisodia’s letter sparks debate over importance of academic qualifications in politics
The letter from Manish Sisodia is expected to add to the debate in politics about how important education and academic credentials are. It also shows how the AAP and the BJP are fighting for power in the run-up to the next general elections.
The AAP seems to be going after PM Modi because of his education, but the BJP is expected to hit back at the AAP because of Sisodia’s education. In the coming months, the political fight will get worse as both sides prepare for the next general election.
