Social media detectives claim that the evidence against suspect Bryan Kohberger is a “single source DNA profiling” and have labelled it as confusing.
For the murders in Idaho, Kohberger’s preliminary hearing is in June.
Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, were all discovered dead on November 13, 2022, at the rental home they all lived close to the University of Idaho. However, as more information about the inquiry comes to light, people have begun to wonder if Bryan Kohberger is innocent, just like Lukis Anderson, who was also accused of committing a horrible crime but was never prosecuted for it.

The Marshall Project claims that a homeless guy named Lukis Anderson was charged with murdering Silicon Valley multimillionaire Raveesh Kumra in December 2012 based on DNA evidence. The crime carried the possibility of the death penalty. But Anderson was a good guy.
Anderson had a solid defence because he was hospitalised and under careful medical observation the night of the murder in November. Anderson was drunk and on the edge of passing out.
The paramedics who had arrived at Kumra’s home had carried his DNA with them, as his legal team later learned. When they treated Anderson earlier that day, they mistakenly “placed” his DNA at the crime scene more than three hours later, leading investigators to conclude that Lukis was the main suspect.
Case study: Bryan Kohberger
Since Bryan Kohberger was identified as the main suspect in the triple murder in the Idaho investigation using the same single-source DNA approach as in the Lukis case, people began to relate Kohberger’s case to that of Lukis.
“Touch DNA will soon lose its admissibility since it is biased junk science,” according to the user, if there is any desire to keep even the appearance of legitimacy in the criminal justice system. True, but if he had bled, drooled, or sweated during the snap, there would be more compelling evidence. If it is merely epithelial DNA, that is scarcely any proof. “It will be interesting to watch what they ultimately specify,” a person remarked.
