The BetVictor Welsh Open snooker 2022 is set to begin next week, we take a look at the schedule, draw, prize money, dates, time, tv coverage and other details
It is the Welsh Open’s 12th ranking event of the 2021–22 snooker season, and the 31st since its inception in 1992.
Jordan Brown is the defending champion, having defeated Ronnie O’Sullivan 9–8 in the final of the 2021 Welsh Open Snooker.
Welsh Open Snooker 2022 Tournament Schedule Dates, Tickets And Venue
The event will take place at Celtic Manor Resort in Newport and will begin on Monday, February 28th, with the final slated for Sunday, March 6th. The tournament qualifying rounds continued from 15th February to 20th February. Tickets for the fixtures can be bought here.
Tournament Format And Rules
Up until the quarter-final stage, all games will be best of seven frames. The quarterfinals are best of nine frames.
The semi-finals are best of eleven frames, and the final will be best of seventeen frames.

The tournament winner will receive £70,000 in prize money, while the losing finalist will receive 30,000 Pounds. The net prize pool of the tournament is set to be 4,05,000 Pounds.
