On August 24 and 25, respectively, Welcome to Wrexham premiered on FX in the US and Disney+ globally, including the UK.
The first two episodes introduce viewers to Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney and follow their quest to acquire a football club on the other side of the globe despite their lack of experience in the sport and their lack of prior acquaintance.
Unsurprisingly, the proposed takeover becomes the news of the football world, but the deal isn’t cut and dried because the acting team needs to persuade the Wrexham supporters to approve their acquisition. Once the acquisition is finalised and Ryan and Rob are installed as Wrexham’s new owners in February 2021, the focus rapidly shifts to issues at the fifth-tier football club.
The difficulties of managing a squad so low in the league structure rapidly hit home. After the 2020–21 season came to a disappointing conclusion, Wrexham’s manager, his staff, and a number of players were let go, opening the door for Ryan and Rob to create a lasting impression.
When Will Part Three Of Welcome To Wrexham Be Released?
On Wednesday, August 31, Welcome to Wrexham’s third episode will air on FX in the US. On Thursday, September 1, Disney+ will release the same episode in the UK and other countries. Additionally, two new chapters will be released together with episodes 3 and 4, which will be released concurrently.
In the upcoming episodes, Wrexham’s new owners will attempt to rebuild in preparation for the 2021/22 season, Ryan and Rob’s first season in control, by hiring a new manager with experience and enlisting a plethora of excellent players from the divisions above. Episode 3 of “The Walking Dead” will air on FX in the US at 10 p.m. ET/PT for viewers who want to watch the new episodes as soon as they are released.
The new episodes will be available to Disney+ subscribers starting at midnight Pacific Time, which for viewers in other time zones means:

- 8am BST in the UK

How Many Parts Are There In All?
There will be a total of eight episodes of Welcome to Wrexham. Fans won’t be able to consume the entire series in one sitting because it will be released weekly.
Two new chapters will be released every week until episodes 7 and 8 are released on September 14; foreign viewers can watch a day later in each case. The first two episodes debuted on August 24 in the US.
