If he decides to make the switch to RedBull, it will be a huge loss for Mercedes as the Finnish racing driver would be able to provide deep insights into the functioning of their main competitors and tips about the Silver Arrows on the grid.

In the midst of the ever increasing reports of Red Bull having touched base with Red Bull, Dr. Helmut Marko, chief Red Bull motorsport consultant has finally opened up on the issue.

“What I can tell you is that there are some options, we are considering them, but I don’t want to name names,” the Austrian said.

“What is already certain is that we will announce our four drivers, both for AlphaTauri and Red Bull,” he added.
