The 2022 Lakeside WDF World Championship will be the World Darts Federation’s first World Championship. The event will take place at the Lakeside Country Club in Frimley Green, Surrey, which previously hosted the BDO World Darts Championship from 1986 to 2019.
2022 WDF World Championship Schedule, Dates, Tickets And Venue
The tournament is taking place at Lakeside International Hotel, Lakeside Country Club, England. The tournament is scheduled to run from 2nd April to 10th April 2022. On Saturday, April 9, the women’s and men’s semi-finals will be held, followed by the finals on Sunday, April 10.

Tournament Format And Rules
WDF World Rankings’ top 16 players are seeded. The competition begins in the second round for seeded players. In the first round, the remaining 32 qualifiers will compete.
The first round matches in men’s tournament were best of three sets format. Meanwhile, the second and third round will be best of five format. The quarterfinal will be best of seven format and semi-final will be best of nine sets. Lastly, the grand final is scheduled to be a best of eleven set match.
2022 Lakeside WDF World Darts Championship Latest Results And Scores
Over the first two days of WDF World Darts, all first round matches were settled. After winning his 2022 WDF World Darts Championship opening match at the Lakeside Country Club, Shawn Burt of Canada earned the right to face second seed Thibault Tricole in second round.

Prize Money Pool Distribution
The men’s tournament winner of 2022 WDF Darts will receive £50,000 in prize money, while the losing finalist will receive 25,000 Pounds. The net prize pool of the tournament will be 300,000 Pounds.
