Yuzvendra Chahal, an Indian cricketer, made headlines for all the wrong reasons after a viral video on social media showed him drunk
Yuzi’s ‘drunk look’ video went viral.
The video that is becoming viral on social media shows Chahal, a Rajasthan Royals player currently competing in the Indian Premier League (IPL), struggling to walk correctly and maintain stillness. The 32-year-old leg spinner’s friends and admirers are now raising concerns about his conduct off the pitch.
Although the exact time and location of the video’s capture are unknown, it is believed to be from India and Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma’s birthday party in Mumbai, where he invited many cricketers, including Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, and Kieron Pollard.

Returning to cricket, Chahal has been in excellent form with the ball in the current IPL season. In his first eight games with the Rajasthan Royals, he has taken 12 wickets and allowed fewer than 8.5 runs per over.
While it is unknown whether the management of the Rajasthan Royals or Team India will take any action against Chahal, a public figure like him, who is revered by many, should exercise greater caution, especially when he is surrounded by cameras.
Watch Ritika Sajdeh and Yuzvendra Chahal have a humorous exchange
The 30th of April marks Rohit Sharma’s 36th birthday. On the occasion, Yuzi posted a touching message about Rohit on all of his social media accounts. Notably, he has a lovely relationship with the Indian captain, as has been repeatedly shown over the years. The two were seen hanging out at the Wankhede Stadium before the Mumbai Indians’ match against the Rajasthan Royals, even on the eve of Rohit’s birthday.
So, on this momentous occasion, Chahal wrote a heartfelt letter in which he declared Rohit Sharma to be his best friend, mentor, and brother. The cricket player, who was born in Haryana, also sarcastically tagged Ritika Sajdeh when their banter later went popular on social media.
Rohit’s better half reacted to the tweet by saying that Chahal had stolen both her husband and now her caption. “You stole my husband, so you might as well steal my caption,” Ritika commented. Notably, Ritika had earlier in the day described Rohit in essentially the same terms. She described Rohit as her compass, dearest friend, and constant travel companion in her post.
