What Did the Student’s Family Attorney Reveal?
The student’s family attorney, Jordan Vahdat revealed that they are planning not only to hold the coach accountable but also the middle school. As per the attorney’s statement, the school was already aware of Josh Smith’s behavior.
A statement from the attorney reads, “While Ypsilanti Middle School is attempting to distance itself from this incident by placing all the blame on Mr. Smith, what is particularly troubling is that another school administrator witnessed the assault and failed to intervene.
“We plan to hold Mr. Smith and the school district accountable to the full extent of the law.”
