YouTuber, The Lost Joey, a foreign tourist in Pokhara had joined a picnic group in Nepal and inquired the people having a picnic there if the food they were eating was free. However, after eating, Jibanath suddenly demanded 300 rupees for the meal, saying, “Pay for it, or you’ll have to wash all the dishes. Otherwise, you will have to leave your bicycle here.”

The tourist offered to pay, but the group intervened, calming the situation as Jibanath also threatened The Lost Joey for recording him without consent. In the end, with the support of the group, the tourist left without giving any money but the video of the incident has since gone viral.

The tourist was cycling around Pokhara when he arrived at a picnic spot where a group was enjoying their meal and he asked, “Can I have some?” The group welcomed him and offered him a plate of rice and meat but as he finished eating and was about to take more, Jiba suddenly appeared and demanded money, claiming the tourist owed him.

Jiba grew agitated, stating, “I don’t need that; it’s only 100 rupees, man.” When the tourist pulled out a 1,000-rupee note to settle the issue, the man showed off his gold ring, boasting that it was worth 150,000 rupees as he kept harassing the YouTuber.

Youtuber The Lost Joey has also now responded regarding his viral video saying, “I didn’t mean to affect the guy’s life on the video please do not disturb his family or his privacy please, I don’t intend to hurt anyone … but please do not disturb him. ”
