Paul’s Patronizing Comment

Paul commented during the broadcast:

This can’t be real, right?, Like, is he actually trying? Or are people gonna actually pay me to fight this guy?

58-year-old John Fury, Tommy Fury’s dad who trains him, was visibly annoyed with Jake Paul and proceeded to take off his shirt and challenge Paul to fight him in the ring.

Once Tommy Fury went for Paul out of anger, his team predictably restrained him. All of the dramatics will come down as a promotional tool for a possible Paul vs Fury fight in 2023.

Fury vs Lambert

Tommy Fury was originally supposed to fight against, Paul Bamba, however, the fighter pulled out on extremely short notice. Bamba pulled out from the match on Sunday because Fury weighed six-plus pounds more than their contracted weight limit.

Following the incident, Lambert had to find a replacement for  Bamba (5-2, 4 KOs), a light heavyweight from New York. From then, 33-year-old Rolly Lambert (15-1-1, 12 KOs), emerged as a more experienced cruiserweight from Cameroon,

During the third round of Fury vs Lambert fight, the crowd began booing Fury, when Lambert pleaded him to engage.

Moreover, Fury refused to pick up the face despite much displeasure from the fans. Fury’s movements were slow and simply boring as he refused to commit his punches for the remainder of the fight.
