What a wild night on Broadway. Into Act 2, @WendellPierce forced to break character to persuade a disruptive, seemingly inebriated audience member to leave.
Still was swept by the performance of the cast by the play’s end. @Salesman_Bway is amazing & well worth seeing! pic.twitter.com/m2yfecD13s— @erinleelikes (@erinleelikes) December 28, 2022

Death Of Sales Man
A video was uploaded by a person in audience on Twitter which revealed that a woman in a fur coat disrupted the death of sales man in the play at the start of the 2nd Act. The clip shows the rowdy heckler casually walking up to the stage before shouting at Wendell who stood above her. She abused an actor and then stopped the entire show as others in the audience watch and shoot the altercation in disbelief.
In the video, Wendell repeatedly says he will give her a refund but she continues shouting and the actor walks off the stage. She then stands in silence at the front of the theatre for a while before two police officials arrive to escort her out and the crowd cheers in the background.
Social Media Users’ Reaction
“We’re grateful to the entire team at the Hudson Theatre for working together to resolve the situation and resume the performance as quickly as possible,” the show’s producers told The Post.
“This is one of the craziest theater interruptions I have seen ever. How do you interrupt Death of a Salesman like this?? @WendellPierce was very kind but I would have told that drunk lady to get out,” stated by another.
