On Sunday, an Aussie Rules player sustained a horrifying leg injury, leaving a horrified commentator pleading for aid with the Wil Powell injury video viral
The game between the Gold Coast Suns and the Adelaide Crows was eventually halted so Wil Powell could be stretchered off. The 22-year-old was tackled on the touchline by Ned McHenry halfway through the third quarter. It was a harmless tackle, but Powell’s leg got entangled beneath the weight of the two men, and the outcome was not nice. As a camera angle showed Powell’s twisted leg, the commentary team demanded that the game be halted.

There was an eight-minute wait while the Australian Rules winger was attended to. The Gold Coast Suns defeated the Brisbane Lions by a score of 18.8 (116) to 10.13. (73).
However, triumph came at a price, with only one fit player remaining on the bench late in the game.
Powell has been a crucial player for Gold Coast since being picked with the 17th pick in the 2017 AFL Draft. His recuperation will begin right away, but he will most likely miss the rest of the season.
