He also shared a raft of screenshots of his messages to his agent, one where he’s seen imploring the other person to help him. He went onto call the Minnesota Police Department in the wee hours of the morning as well making the same plea with police being sent to ensure the player’s safety.
The security officials have since issued a statement, one where they talked about not find an intruder in the premises. They also went onto state that Everson had informed them he had fired his weapon with the police actively working to ensure the Vikings player was in the right frame of mind.
“Vikings representatives and the team’s mental health professionals have been on-site at Everson Griffen’s home since early this morning and are cooperating with law enforcement,” the Vikings said.
“Our only concern at this time is the safety and well-being of Everson and his family. We will have further comment at the appropriate time,” the team added.
