Vikas Divyakirti, who’s the founder and owner of a famous UPSC coaching institute, Drishti IAS, is making headlines after reportedly making “derogatory remarks” against Goddess Sita with him also seen promoting the propoganda of AAP as his controversy goes viral on Twitter

According to a report by News18, Vikas, who’s a teacher in a famous institute of those who desire to be an IAS officer, while quoting an author went on to compare the Goddess Sita with ghee licked by a dog.

For those who aren’t familiar with the situation, let us tell you, in a teaching session, Divyakirti while quoting a Sanskrit author tried to explain something to his students.

Vikas while claiming that a Sanskrit author had quoted the phrase as Ram saying to Sita, “I did not fight this war for you but for the respect of my lineage. Like ghee licked by a dog is not fit for eating, you Sita, are not fit for me.”

Soon enough, the video made its way online. After learning the remarks made by the founder of a popular coaching institute, many took to Twitter and started criticising the teacher.

Meanwhile many began a campaign to ban the popular coaching institute as hashtags like #BanDrishtiIAS.

The video was first shared by the National President of Bhagwa Kranti Sena, Sadhvi Prachi on Twitter with the aforementioned hashtag. In the 45 minutes video Vikas was seen saying the ‘derogatory comment.’

The statement made by Vikas has sparked harsh criticism as many are claiming that he has hurted Hindu sentiments.

Ever since Friday morning, the social media platform Twitter has been flooded by the hashtag and claims to ban the Drishti IAS. Meanwhile many users even went on to demand strict actions against the remarks.

One such user penned down while sharing the 45 seconds video, “Coaching centres discussing sensitive religious texts with negative comments despite strong observation by recent Higher courts. This must be investigated with FIR.”

Meanwhile many users also came in support as they shared the pictures of Ramayana with highlighting the quote.

As of now, the coaching institute hasn’t made any comment regarding the incident.
