Christian Wood baby mama Yasmine Lopez involved in an altercation

The Wags Unfiltered site was the first to report about the incident in a series of Instagram posts. According to the site, the altercation took place between Christian Wood’s baby mama Yasmine Lopez and a Plastics Instagram model called ‘Mariah’. Yasmine just recently gave birth to a son with Wood. The posts showed clips of Yasmine biting the model along with further proof of the incident which the model sent.

Christian Marquise Wood is an American professional basketball player who was born on 27 September 1995, in Long Beach, California, USA. He currently plays for the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Prior to that, he played college basketball for the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels.

Christian Wood is currently 28 years old and stands at a height of 2.08 m.

The incident came as Christian Wood began his journey as part of the Los Angeles Lakers, who signed him to a two-year deal worth $5.7 million. He was brought in to shore up the frontcourt of the purple and gold and provide needed help to resident superstar big man Anthony Davis.

Christian Wood started out as an undrafted player in 2015 after graduating from UNLV. He eventually signed for the Philadelphia 76ers and after spending his first year playing for them along with its NBA Development League affiliate Delaware 87ers. Throughout his career, he also played for Charlotte, Milwaukee, New Orleans and Detroit.

Christian Wood had his breakthrough years with the Houston Rockets during 2020 to 2022. During his time there, he averaged 19.1 points, 9.9 rebounds, and one block. The following 2022-23 NBA season, he joined the Dallas Mavericks, for whom he played 67 games. He recorded an average of 16.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 1.1 blocks. Ahead of this season, he joined the Lakers, and played in two preseason games off the bench so far. He has averaged 7.5 points and five rebounds in 21 minutes of play.

Christian Wood contract

Christian Wood signed with the Lakers on a two-year contract during the offseason. Following his new contract, he will approximately earn around $2.7 million this season. Moreover, he has a player option on the second year, which will see him earn $3 million in one season if he decides to take up the offer.
