The video footage of Tory Lanez’s stabbing in jail has gone viral
Rapper Tory Lanez, who is serving a 10-year term in connection with the 2020 Megan Thee Stallion shooting, is recovering from 14 stab wounds he received earlier this month at California Correctional Institution in Tehachapi.

The Shade Room claims to have an exclusive video of inmate, age 42 Santino Casio who is serving a life sentence attacking Tory Lanez violently close to a stairwell within the prison. In the video, Casio repeatedly hits Lanez as he tries to flee and screams for assistance.

Rapper Tory Lanez can be seen leaving a cell but hanging around the entryway in a 39-second video. Only generic jail noises are audible, making it impossible to tell if the rapper, Santino, or anybody else were having a conversation. But in the video, a man who is now known as Casio chases Lanez as he approaches some adjacent steps. The stabbing seems to begin with Tory on his feet, though he quickly falls to the floor.

At around 21 seconds into the video, Casio is above Tory, still stabbing him while the rapper tries to escape by kicking his feet. “Oh God,” Lanez cried repeatedly during the assault. Before the video ends, the artist eventually fled by sprinting down the stairs and out of the frame. Despite Tory Lanez’s cries, it doesn’t seem like anyone stopped the attack at this point.
Additionally, still photos of Tory Lanez’s stabbing aftermath were obtained by the media. He appears surprised in one picture, his face covered in blood splatters. In the second picture, his grey slacks and shirtless upper body are seen smeared with blood.
About 1,700 prisoners are being kept at this jail which is located in the Mojave Desert mountains approximately 100 miles away from the north of Los Angeles.
According to an Associated Press report following the event, Santino stabbed Tory Lanez at approximately 7:20 a.m. local time. Following a media statement and a social media statement from the rapper’s crew on the same day, the May 12 attack came to the public’s attention. According to the post, Lanez suffered 14 punctures, which caused both of his lungs to collapse.
