New Zealand is saved by Daryl Mitchell’s 50. When Mitchell joined captain Kane Williamson at the crease, New Zealand had lost three important wickets for only 49 runs. Mitchell took the lead right away, while Williamson took a back seat. The two of them put up 68 runs for the fourth wicket.

Williamson was out for 46 after 42 deliveries, right as their last over started, but Mitchell kept going and played a great innings, scoring 53* from just 35 deliveries to help New Zealand reach 150.
Shaheen Afridi was the best bowler for Pakistan. He had a record of 4-0-24-2. But the team as a whole played with discipline on a used track to limit the Kiwis to a target that could be caught.
Mohammad Rizwan And Babar Azam Got Pakistan Into Finals
Pakistan needed a steady start to catch up to the target, but Babar and Rizwan put on a show that set the stage for their win. Both batters made it to their well-deserved fifties during their 105-run stand. Rizwan got 57 runs from 43 balls, while Babar got 53 runs from 42 balls.

When their partnership ended, Pakistan only needed 48 runs to win out of 44 deliveries, and the middle order did a great job of getting them there with seven wickets and five balls to spare.

This is a huge accomplishment for Pakistan, since they lost their first two Super 12 games. After that, they came back, won three games in a row, and made it to the semi-finals. Now, they’re in the final because they beat New Zealand very easily.

Before this game, Pakistan already had the mental edge because they had beaten New Zealand in the final of the tri-series that took place before the tournament. Now, they’ll play either India or England in the T20 World Cup final on November 13 at the MCG in Melbourne.
