A video has gone viral showing Sergio Brown fighting with Mexico police officers inside a flight
Sergio Brown, a former NFL player who had been arrested in connection with his mother’s death, engaged in a disturbance with Mexican officers while aboard a plane in Mexico City during his extradition to the United States, as captured in a video presented by TMZ.
During their journey back to the United States, Michelle Williams, a resident of Lakeside, California, and her family, witnessed Brown loudly arguing and physically clashing with two officers seated next to him on a flight bound for Tijuana.

What’s in the Video?
The incident was recorded on video after the plane’s captain threatened to have Brown removed. Williams, who filmed the event, recounted that it took an hour and a half for authorities to successfully escort Brown off the plane, leaving her perplexed by the commotion. She mentioned that Brown was yelling about being kidnapped by these men.
Sergio Brown had been apprehended in San Diego shortly after re-entering the U.S. from Tijuana. He is currently being held without bail in San Diego, awaiting extradition to Maywood to face murder charges. Authorities have a 30-day window to pick him up and transport him back to Illinois for prosecution regarding the murder of his mother, Myrdle Brown.
Sergio Brown’s Mother Death
Myrdle Brown’s body was discovered on September 16 in a creek bed near her residence, which she shared with her son, in the Chicago suburb of Maywood. The 35-year-old had been missing for a month, and Sergio Brown had previously claimed on his Instagram account that his mother’s murder was a false report.
Who is Sergio Brown
For those unfamiliar with him, Sergio Brown, born on May 22, 1988, is a former American football safety who began his professional career with the New England Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2010. Throughout his career, he also played for the Indianapolis Colts, Atlanta Falcons, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Buffalo Bills.
Sergio Brown hails from Maywood, Illinois, and has a family history associated with sports, as his father, Mario Brown, was the first African-American men’s basketball player at Texas A&M.
He attended Proviso East High School in Maywood, where he excelled in both football and track. On the football field, he played as a wide receiver and defensive back for the Pirates football team, and academically, he maintained a 3.2 GPA. He was also a standout track & field athlete, with achievements in the long jump and sprint events.
