Joe Mixon, a running back for the Cincinnati Bengals, is being looked into for his alleged role in a shooting that hurt a young person who was playing with a nerf gun with a video now viral
Reports say that the incident happened on Monday evening, and deputies were called to the 7900 block of Ayers Road in Anderson Township after shots were fired. One child with minor injuries was taken to the hospital.
The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that it is a “active investigation,” and deputies have put up crime scene tape across two houses on the street. Also Deputies were seen banging on the door of one of the Joe Mixon’s homes, telling the owner to come out and saying that they were sheriff’s deputies. As of midnight, no movement was seen.

It has been confirmed that Bengals running back Joe Mixon lives in the house where police are right now. At this point, it’s not clear what role he played in what happened. The police have let a car into the driveway of the house.
