Reports say that the incident happened on Monday evening, and deputies were called to the 7900 block of Ayers Road in Anderson Township after shots were fired. One child with minor injuries was taken to the hospital.

The Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that it is a “active investigation,” and deputies have put up crime scene tape across two houses on the street. Also Deputies were seen banging on the door of one of the Joe Mixon’s homes, telling the owner to come out and saying that they were sheriff’s deputies. As of midnight, no movement was seen.
