Indian cricketer Cheteshwar Pujara was seen bowling leg-spin for his county cricket team 2022 Sussex, conceding 8 runs in his over with the video viral
Cheteshwar Pujara recently played for India against England in a one-off Test match at Egbaston. Now, just a week later, Pujara is back in action for his county team, Sussex, in the County Championship.
Sussex played against Leicestershire in the second division of the County Championship, where Pujara gave a wonderful performance. The veteran player bowled an entire over throwing in some leg-spins.

The right-handed batsman had a decent outing with the bat in his comeback match for Sussex. Pujara scored 46 runs and played an important part in his team’s total runs during the first innings. Altogether, the team led by Tom Haines managed to register a total of 588 runs.
Besides displaying his batting prowess, the 34-year-old also had a chance to show off his bowling skills. Pujara bowled one over in the match, managing to bowl six leg-spins against the opponent batsman. He couldn’t take a wicket, however, and conceded 8 runs during his over.

Pujara’s bowling history
Despite the surprise of seeing the veteran’s bowling skills, fans should know that this isn’t the first time he has bowled. In fact, Pujara has bowled 42 overs (251 balls) in first-class cricket, with six scalps under his belt. Pujara has also bowled one over in Test cricket but has yet to knock out a batsman in top-flight cricket.
Pujara will continue playing county cricket for Sussex this year
Pujara is currently carrying out his trade in county cricket and is expected to stay in England for some more months. Sussex is scheduled to play two more fixtures in July and then play the Royal London One-Day Cup in August.
