Prior to the fight, Perez made headlines after she was swiftly taken to the hospital due to an undisclosed medical condition after her initial weigh-in on Friday.

Ailin Perez sparked some controversy on Saturday afternoon following her win against Lucie Pudilova. While celebrating her victory, Perez proceeded did a twerking dance which sparked all kinds of reactions from fans. In particular, the fans got triggered because her 5-year-old son was also present at the UFC Apex Facility. The 29-year-old inverted herself on the octagon fence before repeating the dance move with her fellow teammate.

Ailin Perez vs Lucie Pudilova fight
Perez dominated the fight from the first round itself, beginning with a well-timed takedown. ‘Fiona’ swiftly transitioned to mount, and proceeded to assert control despite the 29-year-old Czech’s making her best defensive efforts. The first ended with Perez dominating from the top, while Pudilova was left with her eye swelling.
The second round featured more stand-up action, but Perez dominated once again as she smoothly transitioned to mount after launching ‘Bullet’ to ground and pounding her in pursuit of a stoppage.
Meanwhile, in the third round, things took a turn as Lucie Pudilova went for the takedown and capitalized on a gassed-out Perez. She proceeded to deliver some significant damage from the top. However, by the end of the fight, the judges ultimately ruled in favor of Perez. The Argentinian won with a unanimous decision of 29-27, 29-28, 29-28.
